What is Trauma Recovery?

Trauma Recovery

At Willamette Valley Behavioral Health, we specialize in trauma recovery therapy that addresses both emotional and physical healing. Our approach integrates evidence-based techniques to help clients reconnect with their bodies and minds, promoting holistic recovery. We aim to create a safe space for healing from overwhelming past experiences.  Trauma recovery is the gradual process of reclaiming a sense of self, safety, and connection after overwhelming experiences. Recovery does not necessarily erase painful memories or completely remove the impact of trauma. Instead, it involves integrating the experience into one’s life story in a way that allows for greater stability, resilience, and freedom to move forward. Healing is ongoing, and over time many people find new ways to live, relate, and grow while no longer being defined solely by what happened to them.

We are Hiring

Founded in 2024, Willamette Valley Behavioral Health was created to help fill critical gaps in mental health care and provide compassionate, accessible support to individuals and families throughout our community. We believe that every person deserves to feel seen, heard, valued, and treated with dignity.

Our mission is to change the face of care by creating a behavioral health experience rooted in connection, respect, and humanity. We understand that healing is not one-size-fits-all, and we are committed to meeting people where they are with empathy, clinical excellence, and authentic support.

At Willamette Valley Behavioral Health, we strive to build a space where people feel safe enough to be vulnerable, empowered enough to grow, and supported enough to heal. We believe meaningful care begins with listening, and that lasting change happens when individuals feel truly understood.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.  You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.  If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.  For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
