Care Rooted in Connection, Respect, and Humanity

Willamette Valley Behavioral Health was founded with one core belief: every person deserves behavioral health care that recognizes them as a whole human being, not a diagnosis, not a number, and not simply another appointment on a schedule.

Mental health is deeply personal. Every individual's experiences, relationships, culture, strengths, and challenges shape their journey toward healing. Because of that, we believe meaningful care begins with truly understanding the person sitting across from us.

The Right Clinician for Every Person

We don't believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Instead, we take the time to thoughtfully match each client with the clinician whose experience, personality, and therapeutic approach best fit their unique needs. Whether someone is seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, severe and persistent mental illness, substance use, or major life transitions, our goal is to provide care that is individualized, compassionate, and evidence-informed.

Beyond the Therapy Office

Whole-Person Care

Our commitment extends beyond the therapy office. We recognize that healing is influenced by much more than symptoms alone. Access to housing, transportation, healthcare, financial stability, community support, and cultural understanding all play important roles in a person's well-being. We strive to meet clients where they are, reduce barriers to care, and advocate for services that support the whole person.

Serving All of Oregon

Serving both urban and rural communities throughout Oregon is central to our mission. Too many individuals live in areas where behavioral health resources are limited, waitlists are long, or accessing care requires significant travel. We believe geography should never determine whether someone receives quality mental health services. Through in-person and telehealth care, community partnerships, and outreach services, we work to bring compassionate, high-quality behavioral health care to communities that have historically been underserved.

Exceptional Care Starts With Exceptional Clinicians

At Willamette Valley Behavioral Health, we believe exceptional client care begins with exceptional clinicians. We invest in ongoing education, clinical consultation, evidence-based practices, and a supportive team culture so our providers can continue to grow professionally while delivering the highest standard of care.

Our mission is simple: to provide accessible, compassionate, and individualized behavioral health services that empower people to heal, build resilience, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful lives. Every client deserves to feel heard, respected, and valued, and we are honored to be part of that journey.

Our Values

These aren't aspirational statements, they're the standards we hold ourselves to in every client interaction, every hire, and every clinical decision.

Dignity First

Every person who comes to us, regardless of background, identity, or circumstance, deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. That's non-negotiable.

Clinical Excellence

We hold our clinicians to a high standard. That means ongoing supervision, evidence-based practices, and a commitment to continuing education across all specialties.

Accessibility & Equity

Mental health care shouldn't be a privilege. We offer sliding scale fees, accept a wide range of insurances, and serve underserved rural communities through satellite locations.

Whole-Person Care

We treat the full person, not just symptoms. Our approach considers mental, emotional, physical, and relational health as interconnected parts of wellbeing.

Right Fit Matching

The therapeutic relationship matters. We take matching seriously, pairing clients with clinicians based on specialty, approach, identity alignment, and availability.

Community Connection

Through our outreach program, we actively work to bridge the gap for populations with limited access, bringing care directly into the communities that need it.

Therapeutic Approaches We Use

Our clinicians are trained across a wide range of evidence-based modalities. Treatment is always tailored, we use what's clinically appropriate for each individual, not a default protocol.

Community Access

Expanding Care Where It's Needed Most

In rural and underserved communities, transportation barriers, limited internet access, and provider shortages make mental health care hard to reach. We believe that's a problem we have a responsibility to address.

Our satellite offices and outreach program are designed to bring quality behavioral health services directly to the communities that need them, because equity in mental health care isn't optional.
