I am originally from California, but Eugene has been my home for the past 30 years. The Pacific Northwest has shaped much of who I am, its pace, its seasons, and its quiet spaces for reflection. I am also a mother of two, which has given me a personal understanding of the complexity, beauty, and challenges that come with growth, identity, relationships, and change. These life experiences are foundational to how I show up as a counselor.
My approach to therapy is both deeply person-centered and grounded in existential philosophy. I believe that each individual has an inner capacity for healing, meaning-making, and transformation—and that my role is to create a safe, supportive, and collaborative space where you can explore your experiences without judgment.
While person-centered and existential frameworks guide my worldview, I also integrate practical evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s needs. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Narrative Therapy, and trauma-informed care. I often work with individuals navigating anxiety, stress, trauma histories, relationship challenges, identity shifts, and life transitions. I also enjoy working with couples who are seeking to improve communication, rebuild connection, navigate conflict, or deepen understanding.
I see therapy as a space where people can explore their story with curiosity and compassion. Whether you are processing past experiences, clarifying your values, strengthening coping skills, or working toward healthier relational patterns, my goal is to meet you where you are and support you in moving toward where you want to be. I approach each client with presence, respect, and genuine care.
It is an honor to walk alongside you as you grow, heal, and reconnect with your strengths and sense of self.
