About Michael

By reading this, you have shown interest with taking a step forward on a path that your future “you’ would be proud of. It takes courage to seek support, and you do not have to hold the weight by yourself.  Whether you have struggled with traumatic stress from past experiences, challenges with meaningful relationships, a sense of hopelessness, or adversity because of your identity; you are worthy of connection, belonging, happiness, and living a life worth living. If you are struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts, overwhelming emotions, unexplained physical issues, or grief from loss; I can help you if you want to take the next step.

As we embark on this healing journey together, we will draw from your experience, values, and strengths that go beyond resilience. I will actively support your exploration with unconditional positive regard, non-judgment, collaboration, and acceptance that fosters a sense of security and worthiness within you. As a person-centered provider, I will be a guide on your healing journey where together, we will learn more about the enriching qualities of your identity that will act as a beacon of light illuminating a path you wish to pursue.

I am committed to providing trauma-informed psychotherapy that facilitates growth through skills-based practice, goal-setting, a deeper processing of past experiences, and collaboration that places you as the expert of your life. My practice is rooted in systems, attachment, cultural identity, and developmental theory with an emphasis in trauma theory. I utilize an integrated model that fuses a humanistic approach with trauma-focused & behavioral modalities so that clients have a customized approach that suits their individual needs for long-lasting healing. Additionally, I have been trained in EMDR.
