Stephanie Machado, Professional Counselor Associate, Eugene, and Virtual

As a proud native of the beautiful Pacific Northwest, I’ve always felt a deep connection to both the natural world and the people within it. Growing up surrounded by towering trees, winding trails, and the calm presence of the mountains and coast, I developed an early appreciation for the ways in which environment, connection, and emotional well-being are intertwined. This lifelong awareness has naturally led me toward a career in the helping professions, where my heart feels most at home.

My academic journey was not just a professional pursuit, it’s a deeply personal commitment to understanding the complexities of the human experience and equipping myself with the skills and knowledge to offer meaningful support. Through my education and growing clinical experience, I’ve become even more passionate about creating safe, affirming, and collaborative spaces where individuals can explore their stories, rediscover their strengths, and move toward healing.

At the core of my work is a belief in the transformative power of connection. I deeply value the relationships I build—not only with clients, but also with colleagues, mentors, family, friends, and my beloved pets who continue to teach me about unconditional presence and empathy. I believe that healing happens in relationship, and I approach every interaction with curiosity, humility, and compassion.

I am honored to walk alongside you in your journey. Together, we’ll create a space where your voice is heard, your experiences are honored, and your growth is supported.
