About Me

My background

I believe there is good in everyone, and my goal is to help you discover and embrace that truth within yourself. I also recognize the challenges that come with seeking healing—the kind of healing that empowers you to truly believe in yourself and live with joy. I am here to walkalongside you on this journey, guiding you through the obstacles and helping you find the solutions you need. Most of my work in counseling will be based on the following approaches:

  • Self-Compassion – Expressing kindness and compassion to self, regardless of what you are experiencing.
  • Person-Centered Theory - Providing a space conducive to uncensored self-exploration.
  • Cognitive-Behavior Theory – Exploring how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence and interact with one another, and how your beliefs and mindset shape your overall experience.
  • Solution-Focused Approach - Exploring the solutions available to you, reflecting on how you have successfully overcome challenges in the past, and applying those strategies to address your current difficulties.

Above all, the most important aspect of counseling is how you feel about our relationship. I will continually check in on your progress and ensure you are satisfied with our work together. Mygoal is for you to find happiness and benefit from this process.
